Our signature spiced oats are a healthy, delicious and easy way to start the day!
Rolled oats are rich in a type of fibre called beta-glucan – this fibre helps you to feel fuller for longer (and less likely to reach for the bickie jar mid morning). Oats are also high in minerals including manganese, selenium, phosphorus, magnesium and zinc.

Our recipe is also rich in warming spices including cinnamon, turmeric and ginger. Turmeric has powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties – found curcumin which is the compound that gives turmeric its potent yellow hue. Ginger is fabulous for digestive issues such as nausea, loss of appetite and motion sickness – so is gentle and warming on the stomach for the start of the day. Cinnamon like turmeric has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, it has also been shown to improve insulin sensitivity – insulin is one of the key hormones that regulate metabolism and energy use.


40g rolled oats
1/4 tsp. turmeric
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp coconut sugar (optional)
150ml of water or milk of choice (we use almond)

1. In a medium saucepan add oats, turmeric, ginger powder, sugar and cinnamon and stir to combine.
2. Add half the water/milk to the dry mixture and stir over a medium heat until oats expand and become a gooey consistency.
3. Add remaining milk to individual preference.
4. Serve hot and top with your favourite brekkie toppings! We love fresh seasonal fruit, Greek yoghurt, nuts and seeds!
