Why you need pilates and why we do it


We are excited about adding Pilates to our Transform Heath offering. Pilates is a total body and mind workout combining strength and flexibility to reduce stress and produce long lean muscles. These postures focus on strengthening the core – the muscles of the abdominals, pelvic girdle and back. Pilates is a great form of exercise for individuals that spend a lot of time at their desk – helping strengthen the core to reduce back issues and pain and encourage optimal posture. The mind/body connection on focusing on precise execution of each posture helps to boost mental clarity, a feeling of being centered and overall wellbeing.
